Market debut of the SmartSun Energy HJT module with a record power of 730 Wp

SmartSun Energy introduces a new photovoltaic module to the Polish market, which achieves an impressive power of 730 Wp and an efficiency of 23.50%. The product is based on heterojunction technology (HJT) and Zero Busbar (0BB), and is additionally based on a reinforced frame made of 6061 aluminum alloy.

Modern photovoltaic modules are achieving higher and higher power, and the development of HJT technology allows crossing new boundaries. One of the market leaders in this field is the SmartSun Energy brand, which has just started selling 730 Wp modules on the Polish market. The latest SmartSun Energy module integrates a number of modern technologies, the cooperation of which has enabled the achievement of an impressive power of 730 Wp. The most important advantages of this solution include:

- The lowest temperature coefficient (-0.24 %/°C).
- Very low degradation rate - only 1% loss of efficiency in the first year and 0.3% in each of the next 34 years.

What is HJT technology and what are its key advantages?

HJT technology is the most advanced solution for photovoltaic cells on the market, which is a key reason why the latest SmartSun Energy module stands out with its excellent parameters compared to the competition. The use of heterojunctions means the use of two types of silicon in the cell: monocrystalline N-type and amorphous.

This unique combination translates into very high efficiency and excellent efficiency of energy generation also from the level of the rear plane of the module. The HJT module, thanks to bifaciality, can provide up to 30% additional power gain, which is unattainable for TOPCon and PERC cells.

Additionally, the design of the HJT cell eliminates the risk of PID and LID phenomena, thus reducing the level of module degradation. Heterojunctions also ensure stable operation even in very high temperature conditions, which is confirmed by the best temperature coefficient on the market of -0.24 %/°C.

Innovative Zero Busbar (0BB) technology

One of the key innovations included in the latest SmartSun Energy HJT 730 Wp module is the use of Zero Busbar (0BB) technology, which has enabled the complete elimination of busbars. Thanks to the patented method of connecting cells, it has been possible to reduce current flow resistance and improve resistance to so-called hot spots. As a result, the module's efficiency has been increased while its degradation rate has been limited.

35-year warranty and full certification

The high quality of the SmartSun Energy 730 Wp module is evidenced by an extremely long, 35-year warranty, covering both the efficiency and reliability of the product itself. The ability to offer exceptionally favorable warranty conditions is also related to receiving a wide range of certifications from such research units as: TÜV SÜD, TÜV Rheinland and TÜV Nord.

The first of them confirmed the resistance of the HJT 730 Wp module to the effects of, among others, salt mist, ammonia corrosion and the PID phenomenon. However, this is not all, because the manufacturer also decided to use a reinforced frame made of aluminum alloy type 6061, which resulted in obtaining results of the module's resistance to pressure exceeding 10,000 Pa. The above-standard durability of the new SmartSun Energy product was confirmed by both TÜV Rheinland and TÜV Nord tests.
